Whole Fish: iced and frozen
The fish are fished with fiber glass boats and taken immediately into the processing plant, where they are sorted by species, weighted, and washed. Iced fish are placed in containers in between layers of ice. Frozen fish are sorted by species and size as soon as it gets to the plant. They are trimmed and prepared according to client’s specifications and frozen. They are packed in 10, 15, or 20 kg cardboard boxes.
