Whole Frozen Abalone
Haliotis fulgens y Haliotis corrugata
After weighting, the clean abalone meat is individually glazed in chilled water baths. The whole meats are then classified and separated for freezing and packing. Laid in metallic pans the meats are frozen at -20 °C. Meats are packed individually in plastic bags and placed in 5 kg cardboard boxes for the Mexican market. For the international market the frozen abalone is shipped in 10 Kg Styrofoam boxes, placed inside a cardboard box.
